Meet the Team

Loren Kerley

(senior stylist, Makeup Artist)

I completed my cosmetology course at Paul Mitchell where I graduated in the top of my class. While only having been in the beauty industry for 2 years, my passion for hair and makeup extends far beyond that. I have a love for makeup, up-styles, dimensional foiling and hair color! With the Bloom team, I have attended a haircut training with 901 Salon in LA, Norvell Sunless Tanning and Keratin Treatments by Coppola. I also attended the Southern C Conference in Sea Island to gain more knowledge as as a manager at Bloom. I enjoy making women of all ages feel beautiful with a sprinkle of glam!  I love getting to spend one on one time with brides, bridesmaids and clients, finding out their story and what makes each person unique.

Caroline Humphries

(junior stylist)

I completed my cosmetology education at Kenneth Shuler in 2016 where I learned the basis of hair. After graduating I became a part of the best team where I assisted and continued to learn everyday from Maci as well as all of the stylists at Bloom. Since starting at Bloom I have been trained in Norvell Sunless Tanning and Keratin Treatments by Coppola. I have also attended cutting classes by 901 artist from Nine Zero One Salon in LA.  I love being able to createnew looks or simply just refreshing the style they already have. I enjoy building a relationship with each guest and making them feel even more beautiful than when they arrived. Apart from working at Bloom, I enjoy spending time with my family and taking adventures with my husband and son.

Carina Khmelev

(senior stylist) @c_lashchuk

In 2014, I completed Cosmetology School and shortly after, began working at Bloom. For several months, I assisted under Maci where I learned more techniques, gained experience and worked my way to a full time stylist. Since starting at Bloom, I have attended several trainings such as; Confessions of a Hairstylist, Beauty Coach Tour, haircut trainings at Nine Zero One in LA, Norvell Sunless Tanning and Keratin Treatments. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to transform a client and create a result that builds our clients' confidence and makes them feel beautiful. I enjoy taking on challenges, from small changes to complete transformations. When I'm not at the salon, I love spending time with my husband and our pup, Adele. We got married in 2016, and it has been a constant adventure. These last few years have been full of exciting changes and I hope to continue experiencing and providing them for all of our clients!

Dalene Graham

(master stylist) @dgrahamhair

I've been working in the beauty industry for almost 20 years. Before moving to Spartanburg, I worked as a color specialist and educator with Planet 21 Salon in Charlotte, NC. During that time, I was able to train with some of the best in the business, including Mark DeBolt of Marie Robinson Salon NYC, and Claudio Lazo of C The Salon in California. I've also attended  classes at The Wella Studio in NYC and had more intense training in Balayage at Jamison Shaw Atlanta. I love connecting with people, hearing their stories, and having the opportunity to make them feel good about what they see in the mirror. I am also a mom to two amazing little boys who constantly keep me smiling.

Maci Hembree

(owner, Stylist)@macihembree_hair

I have been in the hair industry since the age of 15 when I got my first job as an assistant. I became licensed in 2007 and started as a booth renter and remained at that location for 6 years. Hard work and dedication paid off and allowed me to open Bloom in 2013. My idea behind Bloom was to create an atmosphere that set us apart from others and a team that worked together to provide exceptional work. I am where I am today because of the assistant position that was offered to me, so in return I wanted to build a place where I was able to offer that to new becoming stylists. Within the past 12 years of doing hair I have been able to attend some amazing trainings including the Redken Exchange in NYC, RUSK color/cut trainings, Norvell Sunless Symposium, Surface Cutting Class, Beauty Coach Tour by Nine Zero One Salon, Cutting Class by 901 artist, Braiding by Blohaute, HotHeads Extension, Greatlenghts Extension, Unite Global Session, Styling by Confessions of a Hairstylist, Moroccanoil Editorial and Unite Paramount Business Class. Outside of the salon, I love taking on new adventures with my family. Traveling feeds me so many new ideas that I'm able to apply to my work and workplace.  I am excited to continue to grow as a stylist and business owner while sharing it with my amazing clients!

Anna Grace Mahaffey

(junior stylist, makeup artist)

Hair and makeup has been a passion of mine my entire life. I began cosmetology school in January of 2018 at Paul Mitchell the School in Greenville where I was placed in the honors program and fell deeply in love with the industry. I love being able to express my creativity through color and or a haircut and help my guests feel and look their best. Over the next few years, I intend on mastering additional skills and furthering my experience and training alongside the stylists at Bloom.

In December 2018, I completed the cosmetology program at Paul Michell in Greenville where I graduated in the honors program called Phase Two. While in school, I started as an assistant under Maci as well as the other amazing stylists at Bloom. They have continued to guide me everyday to become the best stylist I can be. The beauty industry is something I've always wanted to be apart of. I enjoy being able to spend one on one time with clients and build personal connections with them to help find their beauty inside and out.
